‘Trauma Art’, as it’s often called, is the result of an anxiety-stricken society, flooded daily by images of violence, terror and death.  The visual language of trauma doesn't seek to document violent historic  events,but it exists in a liminal space, which creates a bank of traumatic images, and which formulate feelings of pain, anxiety and awe.
